EVENT DETAILS
The Heritage Middle School Color War is back by popular demand, and this year, we’re bringing the color to fall!
All students in grades 6–8 are invited to spend the last hour of the school day tossing colorful powder, coloring their friends and teachers, and transforming everyone into a walking rainbow!
The event will feature music, games, team spirit, photo opportunities, and plenty of colorful fun. No registration is required, and the event is open to all HMS students.

The HMS PTSA plans to make sure every student can join the fun. Please consider making a donation to help provide every student with a color packet!
Students may also purchase additional color packets to add even more color to the celebration.

The deadline to preorder a Color War T-shirt online is Friday, September 4, at 11:59 p.m.
The deadline to preorder Color Packets and Concession Tickets online is Friday, September 11, at 11:59 p.m.
Preordered T-shirts will be delivered to students at school on Thursday, September 17. A limited number of shirts will also be sold during lunch the week of the event, but make sure to preorder to guarantee your student’s size.
Preordered color packets will be delivered to students immediately before the Color War begins on Friday, September 18.

While supplies last, students may purchase color packets, t-shirts, and concessions tickets during lunch on Monday, 9-14, Tuesday, 9-15, and Wednesday, 9-16.

👕 WHAT TO WEAR
Students are encouraged to wear white or light colors so the colors show up best. Preorder an official white HMS Color War T-shirt, or wear comfortable clothing that can get messy.
The color powder is non-toxic and non-staining, but we recommend wearing clothing and shoes that can get dirty.
Feel free to bring goggle or sunglasses to wear during the Color War!
⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- The event takes place during the last hour of the regular school day.
- Regular dismissal and after-school activities will continue as scheduled.
- Students are expected to follow all school behavior guidelines.
- Color powder should only be thrown in designated areas and as directed by HMS staff.
